Lurie Garden Spring Festival & Plant Sale
What: Explore Chicago: “Celebrate the 2012 gardening season with a shopping trip to the Lurie Garden! Stop by the plant sale to purchase from a selection of the Lurie Garden’s top perennials, which provide four-season interest, food for local fauna and are well-suited to Midwest soils. All proceeds support Lurie Garden programming. The event also includes garden tours, hands-on gardening tips, honey tasting, natural crafts for children, face painting, activities by local organizations and more. Quart size perennials cost $5 and gallons cost $10. Cash or check only. Please bring your own bags or boxes to transport your plants.”
