The Red Balloon Co., a unique store for kids, has relocated its flagship store in Bucktown to a larger space at 1940 N Damen. In honor of its new location, The Red Balloon Co. will host a complimentary Sidewalk Art Days at its Bucktown and Andersonville locations. Join The Red Balloon staff and a local artist in creating fun murals along Clark and Damen.
“We love having a fun shopping experience for kids inside The Red Balloon during the winter, but for summer we want to take it outside!” said Jennifer Pope, owner of The Red Balloon Co. “We are hosting two family-friendly events to make summer weekend shopping a fun, outdoor experience for the whole family.”
The Red Balloon Co. is a unique store for kids with locations in Chicago’s Bucktown and Andersonville neighborhoods. The stores offer a variety of children’s clothing, books, toys and room accessories – all selected for durability and the wonderful, whimsical qualities that make childhood special. Opened in 1998 as a children’s furniture store, selling handmade furniture designed by owner Jennifer Pope, The Red Balloon Co. has continued to seek out unique designers and local artisans as it expanded its offerings for children. The Red Balloon Co is an ideal shop for to find unusual children’s gifts or to stock up on basics for summer camp or the school year.
