Old Town School of Folk Music tells us…
OPEN HOUSE FRIDAY: What’s it all about?
Every month we choose a Friday to have an open house. It’s the Old Town School’s night of music and community. Bring your instrument, a couple songs, dancing shoes, a date or a few friends. The café is open, and the evening is open to the public.
As a centerpiece event each month we feature a concert performance by a member of the School’s amazing faculty or staff. Doors open at 5:00 PM, the whole evening costs only a $5 donation for individuals and $10 for families, and activities happen all over both building at various times throughout the night.
Performances – August 3rd
6:45 PM in Maurer Hall: Ensemble Performances
9:00 PM in Maurer Hall: Randy Morris
Hosted by Paul Tyler
Each month, dance to a different caller and a live band from the Old Town School community. Dance pros and newbies welcome – for families and adults!
August 3rd, 8:30 – 10:30 PM in Szold Hall
