What: Open Books: “The Summer Olympics are around the corner, and Open Books has decided to get in the spirit of competition with our own literacy-themed contests of skill and speed!

The Literacy Olympics is your chance to enjoy bookish competition like The Long Jumble and the Box Put, along with food, drinks, awards for top finishers in each category, and the chance to help Open Books win up to $15,000 in prize money as a participant in Razoo’s Twive and Receive contest. Join us to help Open Books best our competition and bring home the gold – monetary support for our literacy programs!”

When: June 14, 2012 @ 6pm-9pm

Where: The Open Books Store @ 213 W Institute

Event includes complimentary food & drink!

How much: $15 recommended entry; $25 recommended entry with contest-playing privileges
