Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras (CYSO) has provided music education through orchestral programs and performance opportunities of the highest caliber for 65 years. During its 65th Anniversary season, CYSO is serving 440 talented Chicago-area musicians ages 7-18 through five core orchestras and supplemental programs including chamber music, music theory and composition.

CYSO’s internationally renowned Symphony Orchestra will perform this special program as a preview of its upcoming tour to Spain – Jonathan Newman’s Blow It Up, Start Again, Borodin’s Polovtsian Dances from Prince Igor, R.Strauss’ Don Juan and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5.
